Joshua Olander

Joshua A. Olander is a Los Angeles-based Criminal Defense Attorney, an Associate in the Law Offices of James E. Blatt and the firm's newest addition.  Mr. Olander completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis where he graduated with a degree in Philosophy. During that time, he also spent a year abroad studying philosophy at the University of York in England.

Mr. Olander received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego where he graduated in the Criminal Justice Concentration with honors. Throughout his legal education Mr. Olander dedicated himself to criminal defense. Mr. Olander worked for the San Diego Public Defender's Office in their downtown branch, where he assisted in the representation of defendants in all stages of misdemeanor and felony proceedings, from arrest through disposition.

Mr. Olander dedicates himself to all the problems a client may encounter in the criminal justice system, and he is committed to maintaining open communication with all the firm's clients so they understand all of the issues surrounding their prosecution. He is also a member of the California State Bar, the American Bar association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
