Michael G. Raab graduated in 1989 with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley and in 1993 with cum laude honors from the University of La Verne College of Law. During law school, Michael Raab received numerous awards and honors for his academics. He also wrote and edited for the school's law review publication, the Journal of Juvenile Law.

Michael Raab was chosen in 2005 as a "Rising Star" by his peers among the Southern California Super Lawyers, and has contributed to FORUM, the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice magazine. He is a partner in the Law offices of James Blatt and is dedicated to the firm's clients.

Michael Raab has successfully represented hundreds of clients in all stages of criminal proceedings in state and federal court, in trial and on appeal. He has written winning briefs before the California Courts of Appeal, California Supreme Court, 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.

Along with James Blatt, Michael Raab supervises the firm's associate attorneys and support staff, providing them with his experience, guidance, and insight. Michael Raab excels in devising innovative strategies for resolving complex issues and achieving his clients' goals.

Michael Raab is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Michael Raab is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California, as well as in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. He has also represented clients in the State of Washington, Washington, D.C., Nevada, New York, and Hawaii.

Michael Raab has developed a sophisticated approach to legal writing and copies of his winning motions, briefs, and appeals are sought after by his peers in the legal community.
