Drug Crimes:

Criminal Possession: (1) The unlawful possession of certain prohibited articles, such as illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia, firearms, or stolen property. (2) The fact of having or holding property in one’s power; the exercise of dominion over property. (3) The right under which one may exercise control over something to the exclusion of a claim to the exclusive use of a material object. Possession of a Controlled Substance: (1) Any type of drug whose possession and use is regulated by law, including a narcotic, a stimulant, or a hallucinogen. (Related Crimes: Cultivation of Controlled Substance, Distribution of Controlled Substance, Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.)

Trafficking: (1) To trade or deal in goods, especially illicit drugs or other contraband, like “Trafficking Heroin.” (2) The sale or exchange of such things as drugs, weapons, or other contraband.

Transportation: (1) The movement of illegal goods or persons from one place to another by a carrier.
